I think that Matt is probably somewhere in the vicinity of Watauga Lake, but the phone reception today was too poor for him to convey much. Thanks for your comments; Matt asks about them from time to time.

Reports have come in that the link to the map doesn't work in Internet Explorer, the AOL browser, or Safari, but does work in the Firefox browser. I have no idea how to fix this as of now...

Great job, Matt!
I wish I were on the trail with you. It would disrupt the boredom, and go a long way to solving the world's most perplexing philosophical and scientific problems. (e.g., given a fixed number of pancakes on top of your dog house, what is the conditional probability that ice cream has bones. I'm sure your get the idea.)
In one way, I hope you decide to push on. But with injury and all, I know that could be extremely tough. On the other hand, I would like to see you back here at the LL salt mines!
